Conversation with Lord Mayor & others

Hobart Lord Mayor Councillor Anna Reynolds and others from the Hobart City Council have agreed to attend a community session on Tuesday 2 May from 5.30 – 6.30 pm in the Community Hall.

We understand that Hobart City Council representatives will include:

  • Lord Mayor, Councillor Anna Reynolds
  • City Planning Director Neil Noye
  • Executive Manager (City Place Making) Philip Holliday
  • Manager (Traffic Engineering) Angela Moore

In order to focus the meeting, we have asked the representatives to talk briefly about how they see the future of Battery Point within the pressure cooker of Hobart tourism. This will enable them to discuss issues such as planning, infrastructure, traffic, parking, pedestrianism and visitor accommodation, and how addressing these issues can help retain the character of the suburb. We will allocate plenty of time for questions from members.

We look forward to seeing you there.
