Book Fair donations
Plans are well underway for this event that will take place on Saturday 26 June in the Community Hall. We will provide you with updates during the next few weeks, but some key points are listed below:
What we need
We need fiction and non-fiction, children’s books, gardening, recipe and DIY books, games and DVDs.
We do not need text books, magazines or encyclopaedias.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
When to deliver
Because the area outside the Hall is not secure or secluded, we are asking you to deliver books during the week at the following times, beginning May 26:
- Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 am
- Tuesday / Friday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
Collection
If these times don’t suit or you are having difficulty delivering your books, we can collect them. Please let us know through the website contact page.
Advertising the event
We will be putting up posters and delivering flyers to Battery Point residents in due course, but please let your friends outside the suburb know about the event. As always, we are grateful to Andrew Wilkie’s office for photocopying our documents.
