Bill & Shirley Foster Commemorative Bench

We are delighted that the City of Hobart has recognised the important contributions of Bill and Shirley Foster to the Battery Point community over many decades by installing a memorial plaque on a bench overlooking the Napoleon Street slipyards in the Napoleon Street Park.

It is here that Bill spent his young days developing his skills as a master boat builder under the tutelage of Jock Muir.
