Narryna gardens news & volunteering
Many people would have noticed the work that has been undertaken the front garden at Narryna in recent months. This has been done by volunteers who meet each Wednesday. In keeping with the heritage of the site, all plants are varieties that were available at the time when the house was built.
In addition, a kitchen garden has been planted at the rear featuring heirloom varieties that would have been grown by the early occupants of Narryna.
Narryna would love to have more volunteers to support this important component of the historic site. If you are interested, you can meet the group on Wednesdays between 2:00 and 3:00 pm or contact House Coordinator Karyn on 62342791.
