Burglary alert

We have been asked to advise you that there have been a number of burglaries in Battery Point during the past couple of weeks. Car windows have been broken and property, including bicycles, stolen from households. One house has been burgled twice.

Tasmania Police is aware of the situation and has urged residents to ensure that their houses and garages are locked at all times. Please advise the police if you see anything suspicious.
