Vale Joyce Burrows

Long term resident of Battery Point, Joyce Burrows (of Barley Mow, Waterloo Crescent) recently passed away at 89 years of age.

She lost her husband Iain and dog Sunny Jim in recent years. To the end, Joyce retained a sharp mind and had a deep interest in current affairs and politics. She was a regular letter writer to the Mercury on such matters, never shy of putting her views forward.
