Following a hiatus of three years, the 2023 Trivial Quiz took place in the Community Hall on Wednesday 19 April. The event sold out within a few days and competition was fierce but friendly. A great time was had by all.
Thanks go to Quiz Masters Neil Cranston and Rundi Larsen who spent many hours developing challenging questions for participants and managing the event. Thanks also to Jenny Cranston and Trevor Graham for their assistance and to Anne Reed for supplying well-needed snacks.
A number of Battery Point businesses generously supported the event with prizes that were distributed throughout the evening: Magic Curries, Narryna, Da Angelo, Shipwrights Arms, Lollies on Hampden, Gay Flowers, Halcyon Hair, Habeo, Bob and Tom’s, Ozus, Wursthaus, Salento Cafe and Prince of Wales Hotel.
The competition was close, but ‘The Mariners’ were eventually crowned winners.
We look forward to next year’s event when residents will resume battle for the auspicious title of Trivia Quiz Champions!
