Battery Point Shipyards Master Plan

A workshop to provide ideas for a master plan for the future direction of the Battery Point Slipyards site took place on Saturday 1 July 2017 from 12.30pm to 3.30pm at the Community Hall. The event was well-attended by local residents and business owners. A report will be prepared for discussion later in the year.

We have been advised that the City of Hobart has appointed consultants Emma Riley and Associates to prepare a master plan for the future direction of the Battery Point Slipyards site.

Staff from the company will be carrying out a planning workshop on Saturday 1 July 2017 from 12.30pm to 3.30pm at the Community Hall. Prior to the workshop, a site tour will take place at 11.45 am, commencing at the Mariners’ Cottages.

If you would like to have your say on the future of the Battery Point Slipyards, you are encouraged to attend. For those of you who cannot make the planning workshop there will be drop in sessions at the Mariners’ Cottages.
