Visitor accommodation & Traffic Strategy

Dear Community Member

Those who attended the August 10 community meeting will recall that we started a discussion on VISITOR ACCOMMODATION. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we were unable to consider the matter in any detail. As a follow-up, the Committee is now seeking your views through a short survey.

If you have already expressed your views to the Committee, please don’t feel obliged to do so again as we have kept a record of all correspondence on these matters. Information about the Interim Planning Directive on Visitor Accommodation can be found here.

We are also keen to hear members’ views about TRANSPORT issues (traffic, parking, pedestrianism). Hobart City Council is currently consulting with residents under the umbrella of their “Transport Strategy” initiative.

Please submit your responses (by Thursday 31 August) to the questions below via this form on the Association website.
